Libertarian Atheist Preparing Sovereign-Citizen Defense Just in Case

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Mark Nelson knows that there’s no God, but he’s been feverishly rooting through his copy of Black’s Law Dictionary “just in case.”

“What if God’s a real sneaky one?” he was heard muttering to himself. “He’s not gonna bust me, no way. I’m traveling through this life, not driving! Yeah, I’m just a traveler.”

So far his notes on “In Case This J-Day Thing is Real” include tactics such as charging God with failure to abide by the non-aggression principle, insisting that the free movement of immigrants to-and-from heaven is best for all societies, and explaining that confessing Jesus of Nazareth as Lord and Savior is compelled speech, and thus illegal.

Mr. Nelson is also considering refusal to step outside of his life because nothing he’s done constitutes a crime.
