Are You an Effective Team?

“Mission says we have done well. That we are an effective team.”

Oblivion might be my favorite movie. That might be my favorite sequence of script.

When people turn and burn through relationships, time and again failing and being miserable, a couple of options are exceedingly likely: they are drawn to chaos, or they are not being effective team members. Sometimes both.

I’ve been that person. Not an effective team member. Drawn to Chaos, with a capital C, because I’ve created it, and embraced it wherever it could be found.

But it’s not a pity party; there’s a reason that, despite academia going into conniptions about Dr. Jordan B Peterson, his book “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos” is so rampantly successful. Since the beginning, we’ve not been made to be alone. (Gen 2:18)

Are you an effective team member?
