Set Your Face
Some people dream of worthy accomplishments, while others stay awake and do them.
Recently my mentor/hero/friend Luke Wilson accomplished some awesome physical goals, and I was wondering why people even in the military fail such goals. At the same time, I was thinking about much Luke has done in the lives of others, taking care of them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
We accomplish much when we are resolute; when we “set our faces.” The Bible uses that phrase a few times. “When the days drew near for him to be taken up, Jesus set his face to go to Jerusalem.” (Luke 9:51)
If you want to win, you need to be alert, and you really do need to have your game face on. Set your face. Work hard.
PS—The image for the cover was just a truck I saw in Fiji. I liked it.
