Wife Forgets to Check Caller ID, Accidentally Answers Husband’s Phone Call
Jackson, WY—In what she described as a complete invasion of her privacy, local resident Julie Ariaca accidentally answered her cell phone without looking at the caller ID, only to hear the annoying sound of her husband.
“I know that some people will say that I deserved it for not looking at my caller ID, but he has no right to disturb me like that,” Ariaca said.

Ariaca partially blames the audio device company Shokz, which makes a line of bone-conduction headphones. The headphones, she claim, make it too easy to simply tap them and accept calls.
“When you get in the groove that us busy women get into, you know, listening to financial meditation podcasts and being a boss, it’s easy to become complacent and tap that little button by your ear to take a phone call.”
Ariaca said that while she’s typically been ok with accepting phone calls without looking—as a boss, she can usually just tell the caller what to do, and when to do it—her event is a warning to all married women of how that complacency can kill your day.
“Don’t be like me and end up in a productive planning discussion with your spouse,” she warned. “Not only does it kill the vibe for the rest of the day, but the trauma counseling afterward is both long and costly.”
