A Belligerent Gospel of Hate

A Belligerent Gospel of Hate

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Be careful of how you spread the good news!

“If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.” (1 Cor 13:2-3)

If we “win” someone to an angry, belligerent “gospel,” we’ve not really won them to the reality of Christ. God asks us this question:

“Do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?” (Rom 2:4)

With love, always,
